32 WEEKS

9.28.2015

5-7 WEEKS!  (Shawn gets nervous when I mention how soon she will be here, I on the other hand am so READY!)

Size of Baby:  Head of Lettuce (?)

Cravings:  Salt and Sweet.  I've been really good at limiting my sugar intake despite wanting to devour an entire batch of brownies.  I really haven't had any sugar other than from fruit.

Aversions:  None

What I love:  Baby girl has been waking me up at least twice a week with kicking or hiccups.  I feel like with how little sleep I'm getting my body is gearing up for her arrival and night time feedings.  Her kicks are so much stronger and I love feeling her move!  She seems to react to loudness and also rubbing my belly.  Its like she knows I'm loving on her when I touch my belly or rub it.  Its cute.  Not sure if she really does notice but like I mentioned she does move and kick.  I'm getting more and more excited for her arrival and to not be pregnant ever again!!!  (Ever, Shawn!)

Thoughts:  It's getting surreal how close it is for her arrival.  I'm really hoping she stays until November.  Even if its November 1st. If things continue to progress the way they've been then I'm optimistic she will wait until 39 weeks.  I've been getting some nervousness about the epidural.  I don't know why of all things that's what I'm freaking out the most about.  When I had my epidural with the girls I didn't feel a thing.  The only explanation I can come up with is when I was pregnant with the girls I knew they were going to be born cesarean but we didn't know when, everyday was a guessing game.  This time around we have a date, something that never happened with the girls.   I'm still measuring a week ahead of where I actually am so she is still growing well.  Can't believe I've had 17 shots, the side effects or getting the shot itself don't really bother me but I don't enjoy them by any means.

4 more shots!!!!! yah!!!!!
4 more weeks until we get our last ultrasound!  I can not wait to see her and how big she is getting.

MATERNITY PHOTOS

9.22.2015

We are so excited this time around we got the chance to get maternity photos taken.  I chose to take them at 30 weeks because I didn't want to be too big and miserable, plus I wanted to make sure we got them done before our angel makes her debut.  (looking at these photos I really don't know what some people are talking about when they say I'm not that big. Yeah, you're right I'm HUGE!)

There are too many great ones to choose from.  Our friend/photographer did a great job!  Here is a compilation a few favorites!

And because these girls are just the most adorable!!

BABY SHOWER

9.14.2015

This past Saturday was our baby shower.  We are so happy we made it this time!  Success.  It was an amazing shower and we had so many great people that came (a few were missed).  We are so lucky!
Several people made comments about me not showing much.  haha.  I think the dress really helped to disguise my belly.  Although that wasn't my intention, I got the dress for $8 and it fit, I wasn't too upset about the comments.  Who wants to be told they are huge.  Its interesting though because at my 30 week appointment I'm measuring 31 1/2 weeks.  She's not tiny that's for sure.

Overall it was a great get together we will never forget.  Great people, great food, celebrating our third child!

The girls, especially Adisyn, were very helpful with opening the gifts.

30 WEEKS

7-9 Weeks!

Size of Baby:  Butternut squash

Cravings:  None.  Well sweets sometimes but I haven't had really any in over a month.

Aversions:  None

What I love:  I had my doctors appointment this week and everything is going so great!  Baby girls heart rate was higher than usual but still within healthy limits.  In fact my doctor assured me due to her change of heart rate throughout is a really good sign that she is healthy.  I had no weight gain so I'm super happy about that.  I am really making an effort to keep my weight gain from here on out under control.  Since I've really grasped control of my health I've gained two lbs. So it has all been worth it!  My blood work came back great and my doctor is totally on board with my lifestyle change.  He's proud which makes me feel proud.  He could tell that she is head down, which I was certain of.  Hopefully she stays there but time will tell.  I won't have my next ultrasound until 36 weeks to get an estimate weight of her and how she is positioned.

Thoughts:  I have been feeling incredible.  I've noticed so many positive changes in my body since taking better care of myself.  I don't have as much water retention, my back pain has dramatically improved, my digestion has been night and day difference, some days my pelvic pain is extreme but it comes and goes and walking does help.  She is getting big and her kicks have been super powerful. We are getting more and more excited.
