HAPPY HALLOWEEN

11.01.2016

This years Halloween was the best yet!  I'm sure I say that every year, but life just keeps getting better.  I LOVED their costumes this year!  So did they, well except one!

Reece hated her costume.  She tolerated it as long as the hood part was off.

We headed out about 6 p.m.  Grandma met up with us for some of the time which was awesome.  Our neighborhood was no let down.  We have some of the best neighbors around.

They were a little shy at first and insisted Shawn tagged along for the first few houses.  Towards the end of the night they were experts.

Reece had dinner on the go.

Some of the houses were way too creepy for them, but candy (and Daddy) helped them get passed their fears.

They enjoyed treats along the way.

Shawn ended up being the accessory holder by the end of the night, but got tons of compliments.

I was surprised how long they all lasted this year.  We didn't get back home until 8 p.m.  Bedtime! We made an exception since it was Halloween and they were having so much fun.  Once we got back of course the obligatory sorting of the candy happened.  Then it was off to brush, brush, brush them teeth and to bed they went.

Every holiday I find myself reminiscing about last year, so I decided to post pictures from years past.

We had such a great Halloween and I look forward to the future years.  Now its time to start decorating for Christmas.

FALL-TASTIC FUN

In years past Thanksgiving has been the official start of the holidays, but this year Halloween pulled through.  Well, and fall in general.  Although the weather has been much hotter than we would all like we were able to escape the heat and enjoy the red and orange leaves in Payson.

We also made it to Vertuccio Farms for some fun.

The twins and I also checked out our neighborhood fall festival.  I was so impressed!  They had food trucks, bounce house, obstacle course, games, slides and an awesome live band.  It if wasn't for the heat we would have stayed for much longer.  We still had fun!

We checked out DT Gilbert's first annual art festival.  They did a good job.  Shawn and I love to see how creative people can be.  We also enjoyed the sidewalk chalk art.

Ava and Adisyn had to leave their mark before leaving.

We had fun carving pumpkins and other crafts.

The girls did such a great job cleaning out the inside of their pumpkins.

Reece was occupied with snacks and getting into trouble anyway she knows how.

It started to get late and I forgot to take a picture of the finished pumpkins.  Whoops.  Ava's was a cat and Adisyn's was ghost.

We also went to a great Halloween party at Stacy and Dylan's house.  We all had such a great time and it was so fun to see everyone's costumes.

I couldn't resist taking these adorable pictures of Reece.  Since last year she was too young, I took advantage this year.

This fall has been an absolute blast and has me excited for the holidays.
