Labor Day Weekend

9.20.2017

Surprise, okay not really.  For the long weekend we headed up to Payson in our trailer.  We were concerned we would have a hard time finding a spot as its one of the busiest times of year for camping.  We left early for an even longer weekend and found a spot right before sunset.  It was the most relaxing three full days we've had in awhile.  Daily naps and losing track of time. This trip we had a new addition so we put our toy hauler to good use and brought our lifted golf cart.

Cruising around in the golf cart was always the highlight of the day.  We searched for firewood and also new camping spots.

Reece fell asleep on every morning golf cart cruise.

We are so happy that we get to share these experiences with the girls.  I hope these are memories they talk about for year to come.

HELLO LITTLE THINGS II

Name is to be determined...

So our first trip in our new home on wheels was one for the books.  It was perfection!
We headed back to Payson.  Our usual spot was full so we headed further and found another really nice area with no service.  We had so much more space and had so much fun!

And now for picture overload because its what I do.

We found some firewood left behind and the girls rolled the log back to camp.

GOODBYE LITTLE THINGS

9.05.2017

After our first camping trip of the year in Sedona we missed our favorite spot so much.  It wasn't long before we had to make a visit.  So we headed up for the weekend.  We made it to Woods Canyon Lake for the first time and loved it!  We made a tradition that every time we go we visit the lake and take the kids to the small store there for ice cream.  Eventually we want to rent a small boat and cruise the whole lake and do some fishing.

We hiked and explored and enjoyed the rain.  It was a great trip!

We barely fit in family photos these days and of course they had to have their creepy dolls in the pic too.

These views never get old.

This trip was a pivotal moment in our home on wheels.  We both agreed the layout wasn't suitable for our size family.  We could have made it work, but didn't want to if we didn't have to.  So we made the tough decision to sell and move on.  It was sad to see her drive away, but the new owner was so sweet so that made me happy.
